1. Who we are
Bizzadmit is a management and professional admissions guidance platform — institute, programme and entrance-exam information, profile shortlisting, and paid admission assistance for MBA/PGDM, BBA, law, design and hospitality admissions in India. Bizzadmit is operated by AdmitHive Private Limited(“Bizzadmit”, “we”, “us”, “our”), registered office 630 & 631, Tower B, Bhutani Alphathum, Sector 90, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201304.
For anything in this policy, you can reach us at info@bizzadmit.in.
2. Scope of this policy
This policy covers bizzadmit.in, our research and shortlisting tools, the student admission portal, and any communication we send you (SMS/OTP, WhatsApp, email, phone calls). It does not cover third-party sites we link to (e.g. official AICTE, UGC, exam conducting bodies such as the IIM CAT portal or NTA, an institute’s own application portal, or a state CAP/CET authority website) or the internal tools our staff use to manage your case, which are covered by our internal data-handling procedures rather than a public policy.
3. Information we collect
a. Information you give us directly
- Account details — name, phone number, and optionally email, collected when you sign up. We authenticate by SMS OTP to your phone number; we do not ask you to create or store a password.
- Academic & exam details — entrance-exam score or percentile (CAT, XAT, NMAT, CMAT, MAT, CLAT, CUET and similar), sectional percentiles, Class 10/12 and graduation marks, work experience, category (General/EWS/OBC/SC/ST), PwBD status, domicile state, gender, programme interest, and (for the admission tool) an indicative family budget band. You provide these to get a programme and institute shortlist; nothing here is verified against the exam conducting body at the point of entry.
- Admission documents — if you purchase admission assistance, you may upload your exam scorecard, admit card, Class 10/12 marksheets, degree certificate and graduation marksheets, work-experience or internship letters, category/EWS/PwBD certificates, a photograph, signature, government photo ID, and bank details (for a cancelled cheque, where a state CAP/CET authority requires it). These are the same documents the official admission process itself requires.
- Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processor (Easebuzz). We store the transaction result (amount, status, an order/payment reference) — we never see or store your card, UPI PIN or netbanking credentials.
- Communications — messages you send us on WhatsApp, email or through the in-portal chat with your assigned counsellor.
b. Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data — pages visited, approximate location (from IP), browser/device type, referral source (e.g. which ad you clicked) — via standard web analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel/Conversions API on marketing pages.
- Session and security logs — sign-in timestamps, OTP delivery status, and basic fraud/abuse signals (e.g. repeated failed OTP attempts) to keep the platform secure.
4. How we use your information
- To run our research and shortlisting tools and show you an eligibility/institute shortlist against your scores and profile.
- To deliver paid admission assistance — assign you an admission counsellor, verify your documents against the requirements of your target institute or admission authority (a state CAP/CET cell or a consortium), and support you through registration, application, preference filling and seat allotment.
- To process payments and send payment confirmations/receipts.
- To contact you — OTP for sign-in, updates about application deadlines and your case, and (if you have not opted out) marketing about our services.
- To improve the service — understand which tools are useful, measure ad performance, and debug problems.
- To meet legal obligations — tax/accounting records for payments, and responding to lawful requests from authorities.
5. Consent & legal basis
You give us your academic details and documents voluntarily, to receive a service you have asked for (a shortlist, or paid admission assistance). Where we rely on your consent — such as sending WhatsApp/marketing messages, or setting non-essential tracking cookies — you can withdraw it at any time (see Your rights). Where we process data to perform a contract with you (like completing an admission assistance package you have paid for) or to meet a legal obligation (like retaining payment records), consent is not the basis and cannot be withdrawn mid-service without ending that service.
7. Calls, recording & AI analysis
Calls between you and a Bizzadmit admission counsellor may be recorded and transcribed for quality, training and dispute resolution — the same reason most support lines record calls. Transcripts may be reviewed by an AI system to help us gauge lead intent and call quality; this assists our internal reporting and is never used to make a decision about your admission or eligibility. Recordings are stored securely and accessible only to authorised staff.
9. How long we keep it
- Account and academic details — for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period after in case you return the following admission cycle.
- Admission documents — for the duration of the admission cycle you purchased, plus a retention period afterwards to handle any dispute, refund request, or follow-up you raise about that cycle.
- Payment records — retained as required under Indian tax and accounting law, typically several years.
- Call recordings — retained for a limited period sufficient for quality review and dispute resolution, then deleted.
You can ask us to delete your data sooner — see Your rights below for what we can and cannot remove on request.
10. Security
We restrict access to your data to staff who need it to do their job — your admission counsellor and their supervising team for case data, and a small technical team for infrastructure. Access to the CRM is individually logged. Documents are stored in access-controlled storage, not publicly reachable. No online system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, and we expect the same of every third party we share data with.
11. Your rights
You can ask us, at any time, to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate details (e.g. a mistyped percentile or an outdated phone number).
- Delete your account and data, subject to what we are legally required to retain (like payment records) and any active admission cycle you are mid-way through.
- Withdraw consent for marketing messages or non-essential tracking — reply STOP to an SMS/WhatsApp message, or email us.
Email info@bizzadmit.infrom the address/number on your account, and we will respond within a reasonable time. These rights are available to everyone using Bizzadmit and are consistent with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
12. Minors & guardians
Some applicants — particularly BBA, IPMAT, law and design aspirants applying straight out of Class 12 — are minors when they sit the entrance exam. Bizzadmit’s services are intended to be used with the involvement of a parent or guardian, particularly for payment and document submission — the “student” fields in an admission case are frequently filled in by a parent on the student’s behalf, which is normal for this process. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has set up an account or made a payment without your knowledge, contact us and we will assist.
13. Where your data is processed
Our infrastructure and some third-party processors may store or process data on servers located outside India. Where that happens, we rely on providers who apply comparable data-protection standards, and the data remains subject to this policy regardless of where it is processed.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law changes. The “Effective” date at the top always reflects the latest version. For material changes — like starting to share data with a new category of third party — we will make a reasonable effort to notify active users directly rather than relying on the date alone.
15. Contact us
